I met Anna and Alex for the very first time at their Engagement Shoot. They had already engaged me to do their wedding, summer of 2020, and like many were struggling as to how to make it all happen amidst the pandemic. They were from Washington DC and were spending the summer with their 4 kids at Anna’s family summer home in Rye, NH. You know those amazing homes you drive by when you’re cruising up Route 1 with the ocean at your right and the lovely homes on your left? Yeah, it was one of those. So excited for this opportunity.
It was a gorgeous summer evening on the seacoast. They’d already had a session back in DC and although the photos were lovely, they didn’t feel as though their personalities were captured in the photos. No pressure right? So, we went for a walk and photographed along the way – super casual, super fun, nothing forced – just a beautiful night at the beach with a couple in love. The photos are magical. Anna’s stories and memories of growing and vacationing in this seacoast home are magical. I wanted to capture that feeling and that area that meant so much to her.
Stay tuned for the beautiful photos from their August, 2020 Micro Wedding on the coast of Rye, NH. It was a lovely, small and intimate wedding.
