I had been dying to photograph a wedding at the highly acclaimed Beauport Hotel in Gloucester, so I was thrilled to get a call from one of my former photography students that her daughter was getting married and she wanted me to be her photographer. SO flattered!! Rose and Christofor are body builders and instagram influencers with tons of personality. Along with their wedding party, they were so much damn fun it was almost impossible to narrow down the photos for this blog. Anyone who knows me knows that I specialize in Seacoast Weddings both in Massachusetts and New Hampshire (and Maine too!). The ocean has such special meaning to me – it’s my church – so I was beyond excited to photograph this couple’s wedding. The Beauport is AMAZING!! Modern, beachy, upscale and gorgeous. The smiles on this couple’s face during the first look was priceless. I can’t recommend a first look enough!! It will make for a stress free wedding day. We hopped on to a wedding party trolly and we were off to Stage Fort Park for photos. We took quite a trek from the trolley and guess what happened 30 minutes in to the photo session? The skies opened up and it poured rain on us. But not before we’d gotten some super fun images of the wedding party. We got a surprise visit from the couple’s dog – and you guessed it – more fun wedding day pictures resulted. Photos on the beach, on the rocks, on the edge of the cliffs . . . yup – it was a photo session made in heaven!
Back to the hotel, onto the ceremony and then back out on the beach and this group just let loose with the wedding day fun factor. The photos speak for themselves.
Reception unfolds . . . introduction with the bride in a handstand, walking on her hands – yeah that happened! Heartfelt toasts – amazing food – dancing up a storm. I never wanted it to end. Take a look at the magic of this day!
