NH Wedding Photographer Shares Some Ideas for Unique and Entertaining Weddings in New Hampshire

As soon as the newlyweds were pronounced husband and wife, they dashed off in different directions. The groom jumped into a waiting convertible, while the bride ran towards a hot-air balloon that had just landed in the nearby meadow. They both had surprises prepared for each other, and it was going to be an adventure getting to their final destinations.

The groom sped through the streets of the city. He arrived at his destination, a beautiful park overlooking the river. There was a gazebo set up in the center of the park, with hundreds of roses surrounding it. The bride was standing there, waiting for him.

After exchanging brief kisses and hugs, they walked to the gazebo to have some amazing photos taken.

Many couples are determined to do something different to celebrate their wedding nuptials – wanting something more memorable than the traditional church service and reception.

One idea is a murder mystery themed wedding. You can get married in a small chapel and then host a dinner party for your guests afterwards. Everyone would be given roles to play in the murder mystery, and they would all have to work together to solve the crime.

Just remember, there is a lot of work involved in putting together a murder mystery wedding. It takes months of planning and coordination with friends and family members who will be there.

Here are a few more ideas – some on the tame side and some a bit more over the top — something for everyone!

1. Have your ceremony outdoors in a beautiful location, such as a park or botanical garden.

2. Instead of traditional wedding music, choose songs that reflect your relationship and personal taste.

3. If you’re having a reception, have it at a unique venue, like an art gallery or historic building.

4. Serve fun and unusual foods at the reception, like mini pizzas or tacos.

5. Give guests interactive activities to do instead of sitting around chatting, like giant Jenga or Twister.

6. Get married in the middle of the ocean for an unforgettable experience.

7. Plan some fun and unique activities for guests to participate in during the reception, like charades or trivia games.

8. Have your wedding at a theme park! This will make for an unforgettable and exciting day. You can ride the rides, enjoy the shows, and have your reception in one of the parks restaurants.

9. If you’re looking for a more low-key option, consider getting married on a boat. There are many cruise lines that offer weddings packages that include the ceremony, food, drinks, and even music.

10. Why not get married in an unusual location like a cave or on top of a mountain? These settings will add an extra layer of excitement to your big day.

11. If you want your wedding to be truly unique, why not have it take place in another country?

12. Have a carnival themed wedding! Contact a few local carnivals and arrange for games, rides, and food booths to be set up in the reception hall. You can even have a clown perform during the ceremony. Create some amazing memories that you’ll never forget.

13. Have a picnic wedding. This is perfect for couples who love the outdoors and want a relaxed, intimate ceremony.
