I was so excited to have another opportunity to photograph an engagement session at Maudsley State Park in Newburyport, MA. It had been a number of years since I’d been and I always love any excuse to be at the NH or MA seacoast. Stephanie, Zach and I set out for a hike throughout the entire park and we found so many beautiful photo opportunities to take advantage of. This park has it all, gorgeous gardens, lovely wooded areas, the ocean, brooks, bridges – and beautiful fields. This couple is getting married at The Atkinson Resort and Country Club in 2022 – one of my favorite wedding venues to work at – such a beautiful reception center.
Super cute, romantic engagement pose. They pulled it off so genuinely – I can feel the love!
I am always looking for a chance to do a sundrenched photo. We specifically chose to start the photo session at 6pm so that we could have the opportunity for these beautiful types of photographs.
A romantic reflection pose is always breathtaking.
Stephanie and Zach have chosen purple for their wedding colors and I love how they chose their engagement session outfits to match. When I came across this field of purple and yellow flowers I think I visibly gasped and proceeded to ask them if they would brave the center of the field for this gorgeous image.
I came across this really crazy tree branch natural sculpture and I loved how there was space in the branches to pose them perfectly. I am always looking for unique and interesting spots to post my couples.
And last but not least – being in the park when the sun was sinking was awesome! I couldn’t love this romantic photo more. I can’t wait to photograph this couples NH wedding and it is such an honor to be their wedding photographer.
