Tupper Manor, located on the seacoast of Beverly, Massachusetts, was the perfect spot for Kayleigh and James’s wedding! You don’t always think of a seaside venue for fall weddings, but the golden yellow trees and gorgeous lighting were stunning. I don’t think enough people take advantage of how perfect the beginning of November is for fall weddings! I was excited to have second shooter Andrea Spano from AKPhotography by my side for the day.
Their wedding occurred before the clocks were turned back, so it was a perfect Indian summer/fall day. The groom’s family is from England and was unable to make the trip to New England due to the pandemic. The bride’s family didn’t think twice about taking him under their wing and treating him like their own son. You could tell Kayleigh and James have a special relationship and they had the most brilliant smiles all day. They looked at each other with such love and adoration.
Boston North Shore Wedding
Kayleigh picked out a stunning look for her wedding day! Her hair, makeup, gown, designer shoes, and jewelry tied in perfectly together and she looked so elegant. Kayleigh and her bridesmaids got ready right on the property of Tupper Manor, which made for a relaxed and fun afternoon. They popped some prosecco and toasted Kayleigh while laughing the entire time.
Kayleigh planned to start the day by doing a first look with her dad. Her dad ascended the stairs to see both Kayleigh and her mom at the top. It was emotional for all three of them, but especially her dad as he saw his little girl ready to be married. There was not a dry eye in the room during that moment.
When it was time for Kayleigh and James to do a first look, it was absolutely epic. We had the groom turn his back on the grand staircase at Tupper Manor as the bride descended down the stairs behind him. As Kayleigh was halfway down, the groom turned and watched his bride come down the rest of the way and they met at the bottom. As you can see in the photos, his face was priceless. They were so happy to see each other and they were both beaming from ear to ear.
We spent some time outside capturing portraits of the couple and their bridal party. Instead of going to the beach, we used the wooded area and dirt pathways to really capture the New England fall feel. The sunlight shimmered through the leaves so beautifully that the couple looked like they were glowing. The light breeze moved and lifted Kayleigh’s veil so effortlessly. These were some of my favorite photos from the day!
Fall Wedding Details
The couple wanted to have someone who knew them well marry them on their wedding day and the bride’s brother was the perfect choice to marry them – he did an amazing job. Their ceremony was emotional and touching, not only for the couple but all of their family and friends. As you can see there were quite a few tears shed throughout their vows. Thankfully the groom’s family was able to watch the whole ceremony live through the magic of streaming! The violinist playing live music was an extra special touch.
The reception space is gorgeous on its own, but it looked amazing with all of the well-thought-out details and decor. The flowers were so stunning with light pink roses, white hydrangea, and greenery. The touches of pink and white throughout the space tied together so perfectly. They of course had to include their dog Luna for their signature drink!
All of their guests loved the bride and groom’s first dance and cake cutting, but the photobooth from LevelUp Your Selfie was a huge success! The photo booth has amazing lighting and allows guests to take photos and boomerangs. It allowed them to print their pictures or send them digitally right from the photo booth. Kayleigh changed into a stunning sequin gown for the party! The couple and their guests spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor and making memories together!
This wedding was such a blast to photograph! I love to capture North Shore Weddings at Tupper Manor, especially this time of year! Congratulations to the newlyweds Kayleigh and James!
